About Aperiodical Publishing Co.

Aperiodical Publishing Co. is a one-person publishing company in Seattle, Washington, run by Glenn Fleishman, a long-time journalist, podcaster, graphic designer, and typographer. I publish several ebooks, print books, and fine-art books, as well as letterpress and other creative projects for sale.

I founded Aperiodical when, in 2012, I took over The Magazine from Marco Arment, a digital-only periodical that published essays and articles on a wide range of subjects, often using a lens of technology. The Magazine lasted through 2014, and is memorialized in one hardcover book (free as an expanded ebook), and a complete archive of its 58-issue run in ebook form.

Starting in 2017, I have published a series of books related to design, comics, and type and printing history using letterpress (hand and mechanized), digital printing, and offset reproduction. While several of my limited-edition works have sold out, you can purchase many in-stock books and related items, with more on the way in 2026.

For a complete list of all the books I have written, plus titles I have consulted with the authors on producing, see my books page.
